The Jacket
The Long Marinero is a mid length parka with a technical look and a sleek design. This style is in our entry level price point but with all the abilities you need. A 2-layer super smooth technical polyester fabric and insulated with recycled polyester. Like all Welter Shelter winter coats, The Long Marinero is fully waterproof, windproof, and breathable, with a 20,000 mm water column. This provides reliable protection against rain, wind, and cold, while maintaining comfort through breathability. A durable, contemporary piece that balances function and weather protection.
Our Fabrics
Fabrics truly are what Welter Shelter jackets are all about. For the Autumn & Winter ’25 collection we expanded our range with super exciting new fabrics and updated key fabrics. Our wintercoats rely on three key fabrics to ensure our garments offer the best in performance and style: Spoiler, Nin Spin, and Polyrayon. Spoiler, a gabardine-like fabric, is both waterproof and windproof, thanks to its tight weave. This fabric is ideal for outerwear that needs to be stylish, durable, and protective against the elements. Nin Spin’s highly tensed weave makes it exceptionally strong and structured, while remaining lightweight and breathable. It’s perfect for garments requiring a sharp, tailored look without sacrificing comfort. Last but not least - Polyrayon. Polyrayon offers the warmth and softness of wool with the added benefits of being breathable, windproof, and easy to care for. This versatile fabric is ideal for a range of garments, from winter coats to blazers. By using Spoiler, Nin Spin, and Polyrayon, Welter Shelter ensures every piece is breathable, waterproof, windproof, and stylish.
Of course, next to these three key fabrics, every season we like to bring some new exciting fabrics. For the Autumn & Winter ’25 collection our wintercoats will also feature fabrics like a fuzzy and boiled wool, a crinkled nylon, washed polyester and an amazing updated tech wool.
Return Policy
Our returns guarantee entitles you to return the product for any reason within 14 days of having received it. You have the right to open the package and check the contents but the product must be returned unused.
If you return an order, please send us a mail with the reason and when you will return it to info@weltershelter.com.
Always keep your tracking number and receipts so you have proof of shipment. We do not provide a return slip this is to be taken care of by the purchaser.
When returning goods by mail please make sure that on the airway bill and the package there is clearly written: Returned goods, no commercial value.
